Lemon Rice

Lemon Rice

Ingredients
2 cups of cooked rice
1 medium sized lemon
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste

Seasoning
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp bengal gram
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp mustard
4 green chillies sliced
1 strand of curry leaves

Preparation
Squeeze and extract lemon juce, deseed it

To the juice add enough salt and turmeric powder and mix well

Add the juice content to the cooked rice and mix well.

Heat a pan and add oil, season mustard, urad dal, bengal gram, green chillies and curry leaves.

Add the seasoning to the cooked rice and mix well.



 Serve with any fried side dish like potatoes or ladies finger fry.
